Synopsis
Liberty Maine is the story of a young man, Sy Barnes, (Eric Close) who is unable to truly commit to his fiancée, Kate Goodwin (Laurel Holloman), because he has not confronted his past relationship with his own father, Nicholas Barnes (Nicolas Surovy), his only living relative. At Kate's insistence, Sy returns to his hometown in Maine to introduce her to his estranged father. During their visit, Sy learns that Nicholas is ill and in tremendous debt and about to lose their family home. As Nicholas condition worsens, Sy is forced to take over his father's vocational camp for troubled boys and to confront the many issues that have kept him and his father apart for all these years.
