An L Word Spinoff – It’s Official

Showtime has announced that one of the actresses will feature in an L Word spinoff.  The new show is being created by Ilene Chaiken and the actress concerned as yet doesn’t know it’s her.  You can read the full story here but speculation will now begin as to who it will be.  Will it be Tina/Laurel?  It’s only one of the actresses so will Ilene split up Bette and Tina again?  Well, I guess we’ll know soon enough but now the lobbying begins.  Let’s hope we don’t have too long to wait until we find out! The News is Out

Laurel has finally revealed why she wasn't able to attend Starfury's L4 in March as planned. There was a lot of speculation that Laurel was pregnant, but we can confirm she wasn't although the rumours were along the right line. Laurel and her husband have in fact adopted a baby girl, a new sister for Lola. We send good wishes to Laurel and her newly enlarged family. (April 2008)

Birthday Donations

A number of people who visit other web sites have expressed a desire to donate to Médecins Sans Frontières (otherwise known as Doctors Without Borders) in honor of Laurel’s upcoming Birthday on 23rd May.  Up until the site received the request to include donations from users of OurChart and The Showtime site (amongst others) we had already reached our $2,000 target.  We have now increased the target to a challenging $4,000.  If you would like to donate please go to the charity donation page at First Giving which allows you to donate securely online.  It doesn’t matter how big or small your donation is, it all makes a big difference to the lives of others who are less fortunate.  We’ll keep a tally here as to how much above the $2,000 starting point we are at any time.  Don’t forget to leave a message!
